Is Tradexcel really free?

Do I need to know how to trade?
No. Tradexcel is built for beginners. Start with a single stock, see what happens, and learn as you go with nothing at stake. The Learn page has short quests and replays of real market moments to practise on.
Are the prices real?
Yes. Trades use live NSE prices during market hours (Monday to Friday, 9:15 AM to 3:30 PM IST) and the last traded price when the market is closed.
What happens every Monday?
At 5:30 AM IST your holdings are sold at market price, your result for the week is saved to your profile, and your cash resets to ₹1,00,000. You also get a short recap email, which you can turn off.
Are there brokerage charges?
Yes, simulated ones. Every trade pays realistic NSE delivery charges (brokerage capped at ₹20 an order, STT, exchange and SEBI fees, stamp duty and GST), shown before you confirm, so your results reflect what real trades would cost.
Can I compete with friends?
Yes. Create a private league with your own stocks and schedule, then share the invite code. Everyone starts with the same cash. You can also challenge any player to a 1v1 duel from their profile.
What do you do with my data?
We use it to run your account, the game and the leaderboards. We don't sell your personal data.
